Update
This podcast is not dead!
It's just sleeping...

Thanks to everyone who has left a concerned comment or sent me an email. My intention was to podcast a short message this weekend to say this, but now I'm not sure that I will have a chance. My wife has gotten very sick again, so I'm taking care of her and our (nearly) seven month old baby. So in brief here are a few updates of what has been going on with the Emery family:
Our gorgeous baby Zoe Angeline Emery was born on May 23 at 12:18 am!
We have moved into a new house.
The whole family got sick, and I worried about the baby (even though she got better faster than her parents).
I have taken a new assignment at work with more responsibility.

The biggest change has been adapting to having a baby in the house. I love it, but it takes a lot of time. I haven't quite figured out the best way to get writing done. The truth is that I have felt a certain sense of shame about not having new fiction written and a new episode out, so I have been avoiding even checking my Brief Glimpses email. I kept telling myself that I was waiting to reply to my friend's questions until I finished a new episode. But that just hasn't worked out yet. I apologize to everyone for not updating you all sooner.

So what's next?
Shifters will be back! I have outlines for the rest of the story and a small amount of the next episode written. This podcast will continue! I hope to put out a small episode soon with a little bite-sized fiction scene.

Thanks to everyone for their concern! Have a wonderful holiday season! I will leave you with a little picture I like to call Zoe Wan Kenobi...
